We at KarpeDium
believe that virtually all of business, and thus much of what
it means to be an effective business leader, will increasingly
be influenced by international and global forces moving forward.
The mission of KarpeDium

strategic initiative through constructive public outreach, and
catalytic/networking activities. This serves to broaden and
deepen their entire business focus to globalization as an overarching
competence and genuine source of distinction over competitors.
This environment includes the interacting variables, issues,
flows, forces, actors and institutions bearing upon the effective
strategic design, conduct and performance of business done across
borders.
Emerging
economies are characterized by excessively high rates of economic
growth. In addition, there is a general deficiency of capital
and an abundance of cheap and efficient labor. Since economic
growth in the economically developed countries has reached a
plateau, most investors looking for alternate opportunities
are attracted towards the emerging economies. Adequate power
supply, transportation and communication infrastructure is a
prerequisite for sustained industrial growth. Most of the emerging
economies are currently undergoing a process of massive economic
and political restructuring. While the immediate catalysts for
these phenomena and their timing might be different, the characteristics
exhibited by the countries are quite similar. The ultimate objectives,
constraints, problems faced and key issues are also the same.
India is a relatively new entrant into this category, but because
of its size and sociopolitical system, is already being referred
to as the 'best bet for any investor' in latest World Bank and
I.M.F. reports.
