Location: Dubai with minimal travel required
Experience - Preferred / Required: 7 to 10 years
Candidate should have experience in the AEC Industry, working knowledge
of the principles and practices of Infrastructure project design
development and construction management and well versed with the
interdependencies of tasks involved in the Design Development and
Construction process. The job requires a comprehensive knowledge
of engineering construction principles and practices including demonstrated
project management skills, oral and written communication skills,
and change management skills. Ability to apply advanced engineering
planning principles and practices to a variety of complex Infrastructure
projects.
Candidates will be expected to interface with the entire Project
Supply Chain including attorneys, architects, contractors, marketing
and sales, regulatory officials, lenders and client representatives.
Responsibilities:
A talented and motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced
environment; knows what it takes to service client needs, through
a complete lifecycle of a Capital Project. The candidate will manage
the entire process from Concept and Design Development thru permitting
to procurement and pre construction of a Project. The role includes
defining the outline and performance specification for the related
asset. Define Design development schedule and then coordinate and
monitor on a weekly basis the deliverables including all meetings
with the regulatory agencies; create scope documents for each trade
and front end documentation for procurement of contractor/subcontractor
services. The candidate will be responsible for structuring the
project delivery method and required contracts for supply chains
participants. He/She will make sure that the parameters of SCOPE-BUDGET-SCHEDULE
AND QUALITY are adhered to during the entire project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's/Masters degree in Engineering
or equivalent management experience in the construction industry.
The ideal candidate should have experience developing tools and
methodologies suitable to the Industry /Client needs. A successful
candidate must have an analytical mind and an ability to realistically
approach problems in a complex, systems-oriented environment. A
successful consultant should be highly self-motivated and driven
to perform at the peak of his or her abilities. The ability to manage
large teams with common goals and objectives is a must.
