Vice President, Business Development
Location: Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Mangalore, Bangalore, Calcutta, Chandigarh
Experience - Preferred / Required: 8 to 10 years in the local market


Provides new business opportunity development services to support, develop, and implement the company's expansion strategy. Responsible for developing and refining the company's merger and acquisition strategy, selecting top national and international markets for expansion, developing a detailed understanding of the industry environment and landscape in each chosen market, identifying prospective acquisition or partnership targets, and successfully closing key acquisitions and partnerships.

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced sales or business development professional from the AEC industry. We are looking for an executive with good instincts, a competitive nature, and an ability to formulate strategic approaches to cultivating new clients. Lead management from initial contact through close, qualification of customer needs, writing sales proposals, and participating in conventions and trade shows are a few of the key components this position demands

Primary Responsibilities:
 Identify strategic and tactical opportunities that will expand Karpedium's market share.
 Assess risks associated with new business opportunities or models while maximizing revenue.
Develop, analyze and assess the economics of new business model, new markets, service offerings    and pending deals
  Interface with Operations to manage deal negotiation through execution.
Aggressively identifies, prioritizes, and manages corporate relationships with targeted strategic    partners to create measurable business results for each of the company's markets. Provides guidance    to senior staff in developing a focused, high-impact set of market-specific partnerships to accelerate    growth.
 Prepare and deliver presentations, deal memos and reports to communicate status of projects to    senior management.

Requirements:
 MBA from a major university.
 Minimum five years experience in the Construction Industry business development.
 Excellent negotiating and people skills.
 Expertise in all Microsoft Office tools. Must be advanced Excel and Powerpoint user.
 Must be able to develop Powerpoint presentations that convey complex issues clearly and concisely.
 Strong analytical and financial skills.
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
 Experience in managing people and cross functional teams.
 Excellent oral and written communication skills.
 Ability to multi-task competing priorities. Must be able to work under time constraints.
