Location: Chicago with travel required
Experience - Preferred / Required: 3 to 5 years

Perform research and analysis around product and service offerings, industry and competitive dynamics, new business ventures, and other strategic business initiatives. Synthesize complex ideas and formulate original points of view. Manage business planning activities and must be capable of working with a client team.

Understand how to analyze and estimate cost of potential new projects for feasibility/due diligence, work with and manage Owner/Architect/Consultant/Contractor team from design initiation through the program lifecycle including bid/negotiation/ contracting, construction including project close-out.
Consultants are called on to formally report to the client, direct client personnel, prepare work plans, facilitate client teams to implement recommendations, organize and write proposals, and participate in new business development.

Qualifications
Candidates will typically have MBA degree and 3 or more years of relevant work experience, including direct familiarity with the AEC (Architecture- Engineering -Construction) Industry. Business or Strategy Consulting experience is very valuable.
Demonstrated ability to gather a fact base and turn this data into strategic recommendations -Experience and comfort in working with managers of Fortune 500 companies -Ability to quickly grasp industry and competitor information and integrate that knowledge into our recommendations and approach -Outstanding oral presentation skills.
